For clothes pack light. your never going to wear everything you actually bring and you want to leave room in your suitcase for the stuff your going to buy when your away.

-a pair of runners and socks for any adventures you go on
so you are going out of the country, so you should probably bring...

-drivers license
-birth certificate

(bring photocopies instead of originals for some of these documents so if you lose them its no big deal.)
